Call South Stickney Sanitation District at: 708/424-6030 to set up water meter reading obtain outstanding bill at reading and e-mail to Buyers Closing Agent to forward to HUD’s Field Service Manager. The Field Service Manager will pay water bill prior to closing.
Call Finance Department to obtain Real Estate Transfer Tax form, original DEED required. And NO personal checks.
Village requires the Seller/buyer to fill out specific Village form.
Transfer Stamp: Buyer Closing Agent MUST bring stamp to closing.
$5.00 per $1000.00 (HUD is not exempt)-ORIGINAL DEED REQUIRED BY VILLAGE TO OBTAIN STAMP.
