Contact the Code Administration Department-708/452-3942 ,3948, or 3920 to schedule a “Final Transfer Stamp Inspection”
Contact the Finance Department to obtain the History Transaction Journal for any water/sewer or liens that outstanding. E-mail all supporting documents to HUD’s Field Service Manager processor to obtain approval prior to closing.
Contact the Water Billing Department to schedule a “Final Water Meter Reading” the bill must be paid 1-day prior to closing. A personal check is accepted by the City.
Transfer Stamp: Seller-Buyers Closing Agent to get HUD stamp
Exempt stamp costs $35.00-Payment must be in a cashier’s check, money order, certified check or cash for the appropriate fee.
Submit the Elmwood Park Transfer Stamp Declaration Form-See website for form.
Furnish a copy of the signed and notarized deed
P-Tax form required.
