- Original update Plat of Survey required with application- If a foreclosure property a plate of survey that is 1-year old is acceptable.
- Original Deed-due 3-days prior to closing.
- If buyer is assuming responsibility for the violations, a detailed affidavit must be typed, signed, notarized and submitted to this office before closing. All Violations must be corrected 30-days after closing (an extension can be granted once they see progress.)
- Contact Water Billing Department-847/671-8292 or 671-8252 for a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/ or liens owed on the property. E-mail all documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
- Contact Water Billing Department for a Final Water Reading. Must be done at lease 5-days in advance of closing. (If the property does not have Franklin Park water, you must have FINAL PAID RECEIPT from the town in which you pay the water.
- After these papers are submitted, closing papers will be ready after the 3-day review time. Upon Buyers Closing Agent pick-up, the final water bill should be paid along with the fee for stamp (See Transfer Stamp fee form) that is affixed to the deed.
