- Plat of Survey required with inspection
- Real Estate Transfer “Certificate of Application “form completed
- 50.00 inspection fee-Money order or certified funds or cash.
- Escrow Affidavit
- Affidavit signed at Village Building Department completed after inspection.
- Escrow fee due-money order or cashier’s check-obtain receipts and copy of affidavit-forward to HUD closing agent so they know the requirements are complete
- Contact Water Billing Department-630/260-6010 to obtain a history transaction journal of any water/sewer or liens owed on the property. E-mail all supporting documents to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
- Transfer Stamp: BUYER’S CLOSING AGENT TO BRING STAMP TO CLOSING.
- Prior to picking up stamp read water meter at home.
- Submit water reading to the Village and to get final amount due. Payment is due at this time. Money order or certified funds. Get a receipt.
- Transfer Stamp form required-see website.
- $25.00 HUD exempt fee-money order or certified funds paid to Village.
- Deed-Prepared and supplied by Buyers Closing Agent
- Stamp will be affixed to deed.
