Certificate of Occupancy-Point of Sale Inspection required-$100.00 fee contact Building Department at 708/753-2416. (Temporary or Permanent Occupancy)
Contact Water Department at 708/753-2417 for a history transaction report of any outstanding water/sewer or liens outstanding. E-mail all supporting documents to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Final Water Reading-contact Water Department to schedule an appointment and the water will be turned off.
Village will require new owner to pay a $75.00 fee to keep the water “ON”.
- After, the final water meter reading the Field Service Manager to pay for the water prior to closing.
- Transfer Stamp: HUD Exempt-zero fee-Buyer’s Closing Agent to get HUD stamp.-All above must be completed
  - Copy of real estate contract-tax based on $5.00/$1,000.00
  - Village of Glenwood transfer Tax Declaration form-See Website.
  - Acceptable Forms of Payment: cashier’s check, cash or law firm check.
