Contact Water Department- Contact Water Billing Department-to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens outstanding on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Water Utility Form-See website-Final Water Meter reading required 2-weeks prior to closing, and the completed form. The final water bill must be paid prior to obtaining transfer stamp.
Disclosure Statement-See Form-This document is requires notarized signatures from the transfer-or(s) and transferee(s) or their respective attorneys, and must be presented at the time of obtaining the transfer stamp.
Transfer Stamp Seller-Buyer’s Closing agent to get HUD stamp
- Real Estate Transfer Tax Declaration form.
- Complete form fully.
- Copy of Deed-An exempt stamp the original deed required
- Stamps $5.00/$1,000.00
