City Inspection Required-$50.00 fee-contact City Hall to schedule the appointment-see form. Drop off form and fee at the 24-hour drop box at the Hometown Police Station.
City Inspector must have access to attic and crawl space to complete inspection. The report will be turned into the City Clerk’s office, and if violations found a letter will be submitted with the violations. If buyer responsibility for repairs-see City Clerk’s office for advisement
Contact Water Department- Contact Water Billing Department-to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens outstanding on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Final Water reading required a few days before closing, and close out account.
