- Sale Inspection can be approved with or without occupancy. The As-is Sale provide an “approval for sale, no occupancy” certification. A re-inspection is required.
- Contact Water Department-847/596-8626 to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
- Contact 847/596-8627 to request a lien search. All liens must be paid by cash, cashier’s check or money order.
- Contact Finance Department to do Final water reading prior to closing. The final bill must be e-mailed to HUD’s Field Service Manager 5-days prior to closing to obtain approval.
