Contact Water Billing Department 708/499-7762 to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens on property. E-mail all supporting documents to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Contact Water Billing Department-5-days prior to closing for final meter reading. All outstanding bills are due prior to closing.
Transfer Stamp= Seller-HUD Exempt-Buyers Closing Agent to obtain HUD’s exempt stamp for closing.
Buyers Closing Agent needs the following documentation:
- Village of Oak Lawn form-see website must be completed
- Warranty Deed
- Final Water must be completed.
- Stamp fee-$5.00/$1,000.00
