Point of Sale Inspection Required-Contact Building Department-708-503-8000. Must go to Village to complete form and submit payment ($50.00 initial inspection/$25.00 Re-inspections).
The Point of Sale inspection will also report any outstanding water bill or liens. Get from Building Department a history transaction journal for these fees and e-mail to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Once, the inspection is completed buyer has to sign a letter stating the repairs will be completed in 90-day. Re-inspection is completed a Certificate of Occupancy will be issued.
