Point-of-Sale Inspection Required-Contact Village at 708/235-4818 to complete form and $250.00 fee.
After, Inspection the Village will submit the inspection report with items to be corrected and escrow amount that the Village will require.
The Village requires an escrow deposit prior to closing and a $100.00 administrative fee. The Village will accept Credit Cards, Certified check or money order.
Contact the Village to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens/parking tickets/municipal fines on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
A Final water meter reading is required contact the Village to schedule appointment 5-days prior to closing.
Transfer Stamp-Seller-Buyers Closing Agent to obtian HUD’s Exempt Stamp-$25.00 for closing.
- The Village requires the following in order to obtain Transfer Stamp:
- Inspection and Escrow deposit is completed.
- Final Water paid
- University Park Transfer Real Estate Tax form
- A copy of the contract
- HUD exempt fee of $25.00
- Transfer Stamp fee is: $1.00/$1,000.00
