Contact Village of Wheeling-847/459-2607- to and obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens/parking tickets/municipal fines on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
“Application for Real Estate Transfer Certificate” is required by Village. See Website for form.
- The form is to be submitted NO MORE THAN 10-days prior to closing.
- The Village will complete a Final Water Meter Reading.
- Once all outstanding fees are paid the Village will issue a Real Estate Transfer Certificate certifying that all amount owed have been paid.
- Transfer Stamp=Application for Real Estate Transfer Certificate. No fee. Buyers Closing Agent to obtain Real Estate Transfer Certificate to give to buyer at closing.
