- Contact Village of Woodridge-630/852-7000- to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens/parking tickets/municipal fines on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
- Contact the Village of Woodridge to schedule an inside Final Water Meter Reading at least 5-days prior to closing.
- Transfer Stamp-Seller-(Buyers Closing Agent To Obtain HUD’s exempt stamp-$25.00 fee for closing.)
- The Finance Department requires the following items in order to get transfer stamp
- THE VILLAGE REQUIRES A MININUM OF 48-HRS TO PROCESS STAMP REQUESTS.
- Village of Woodridge-Real Estate Transfer Declaration
- Original Deed
- P-Tax form or Executed Sales Contract
- Final water bill paid in full. Or a deposit of $75.00 can be put up with Village to avoid any balance prior to closing.
- Final Water Meter Reading
- Transfer Stamp fee of $25.00
