Contact Water Billing Department-847/746-4060-to obtain a history transaction journal for any outstanding water/sewer/liens/parking tickets/municipal fines on property. E-mail all supporting documentation to HUD’s Field Service Manager to obtain approval prior to closing.
Contact Water Billing Department to schedule an inside/outside water meter reading. All new owners are required to make an application with the water department and put a security deposit down of $100.00.
Buyers Closing Agent to contact the City to order a final bill. At the time the final water reading is completed and the new owner HAS NOT completed the application or deposit the water will be Shut-off. The City will charge a $50.00 turn on fee.
