The contract expiration date can be extended through the extension request process after contract ratification/execution. It’s the selling agent’s responsibility to prevent the contract from expiring. HUD will not accept late extensions.
- Broker and purchaser must sign extension request form.
- Extension fee (certified funds) must accompany the request. Alpine FP will determine if the fee will be charged or refunded.
- A lender letter or current proof of funds must accompany the request and fee.
- All three items are to be delivered to the Chronos office and due 5 days prior to expiration of the contract term.
